We not only create unique events that inspire women to chat, learn, and contribute; we listen to what they say, watch what they do, and pass that information on to people who are agents of positive change.

Founder Tracy Klinkroth is an inspiring It-Girl of Seattle. In 2005, she created ChickChat with her marketing background. Giving women a solid voice and making marketing research more meaningful with real women. Today, ChickChat hosts multiple events in the Seattle, Los Angeles and Chicago areas.

Why fashion?
I grew up around fashion since I was a baby. My mother is an amazing seamstress who made customize clothing for me and siblings when we were children. My mother owns a sewing contracting business for over 10 years now. I grew up surrounded by fabrics, industrial sewing machines, patterns, intense deadlines,and thread clippings all over my clothes. I went to South Seattle Community College and received my Associate of Business and then received my Baccalaureate of Science in Fashion Marketing and Management in Spring 2009.

What NOUN has been the biggest influence on your designs? Explain.
Momma- She's strong, feminine, and super cool. She introduced me to fashion and has been so supportive with this line.

Where did your motto Fashion with Freedom and Purpose come from?

My sister Kelly is a full-time humanitarian, so we were searching for a way to combine our passions. When we started to realize what could happen with the organizations we identified that had already started the training aspects of a program for women, but had no strong streams of revenue created for the, The Freedom Project was born and it all came together. Not only are the designs themselves freeing, but the core of the brand has a purpose far beyond greed and profit which truly makes it stand alone.
